Never ones to hold back when it comes to living the good life, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z decided to ring in the New Year in the relaxing environment of St. Barth.

Spotted side-by-side on Thursday afternoon (December 31), the happy couple held one another as they partook in a leisurely yacht cruise around the Caribbean ahead of the New Year’s Eve parties.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z recently finished up his work on a brand new collaboration called “Light Up” with Toronto lyricist, Drake.

“Everybody is looking for this one joint with me and Jay, so that needs to happen,” Drake previously told MTV. “My goal at this point is to keep making that organic music. I don’t wanna feel pressure now that I have a single and music that’s hot.”

Now having completed the new track, Drake later told MTV, “When I heard that beat, the drums that they had come up with, it was like, ‘Man, this is a moment. This sounds like where I’m at in my life.’ So, we took it and 40 did what he does to pieces of music that I see potential in — he took it to the next spot. Jay-Z’s on it. The song is phenomenal. It’s done now.”

Jetting off to the islands for the New Year’s holiday, Lindsay Lohan has opted to kick off 2010 in sunny St Barth.

Showing off her fit figure, the “Georgia Rule” actress tweeted a sexy personal bikini pic as she cruised around the Caribbean waters ahead of a scheduled appearance at Russell Simmons’ NYE bash.

Updating her fans and followers of her holiday trip, LiLo tweeted, “Starting my new year off with friends&family, the way it should be….. No boyfriends and the other drama.”

A short while later, the 23-year-old cheerfully added, “Peace and Love Mates.”

Always making sure to fit in as much family time as possible, Jennifer Garner was spotted out with her two lovely daughters in Santa Monica on Thursday (December 31).

The “Juno” actress was helped out by a nanny during the day’s outing, with the happy family strolling along Montana Avenue ahead of the night’s New Year’s celebration.

Opting for a little artsy action, Jen escorted her little ones over to Scribble Press, which happens to be the first ever make your own book store.

Meanwhile, when it comes to future endeavors, Jen says she’s not looking for another Broadway gig as it took away from her time with her family.

Speaking of her “Cyrano de Bergerac” role she explained, “It was just my favorite thing I’ve ever done, but it’s hard on my family.  You can’t tell your kids, ‘I’m exhausted.  Wake up with someone else today.’”

Teaming up for a day at the beach, Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola were looking lovely while out in Miami, Florida on Thursday (December 31).

The “Vampire Diaries” hotties frolicked about on the scenic South Beach, playing with their Canon Powershot camera before the New Year’s eve celebrations.

Tweeting to her fans the previous day about the southern Florida getaway, Nina wrote, “Not feeling so hot, but I’m stil going to get hott- Will Smith said it best- ‘Welcome to Miami, bienvenido a Miami!!’”

Ready to ring in 2010, the stars have been traveling about the globe to reach their New Year’s Eve party destinations.

Among this year’s fetes are numerous Sin City soirees, with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden holding court at Lavo nightclub while 50 Cent and the Black Eyed Peas will also be hosting their own celebrations at Pure and LAX respectively.

Meanwhile, Lady GaGa will be taking to the James L. Knight Center in Miami Beach for what currently happens to be the hottest New Year’s Eve ticket.

Just down the street, “Twilight” hunk Kellan Lutz will be manning the mic at a big New Year’s bash at Klutch nightclub sans Olivia Munn, who was a last minute pullout.

Not to be forgotten, Eva Longoria is dishing out a “top-secret musical performance” at her Beso restaurant in Hollywood as Pamela Anderson will be getting the party started at the Gridlock New Year’s Eve concert - which features a performance by Adam Lambert.

On the TV end of things, Billboard’s New Year’s Eve Live will be airing on FOX at 11PM, with Carmen Electra hosting the night’s festivities which include performances by Kris Allen and Sean Kingston.

As for Dick Clark’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” which begins at 10PM on ABC, Ryan Seacrest and Fergie will act as co-hosts to a show featuring appearances by Black Eyed Peas, Justin Bieber, Robin Thicke, Keri Hilson, Selena Gomez, Colbie Caillat and Orianthi.

Last, but not least, Carson Daly will be hosting “NBC’s New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly,” which airs at 10PM. The New Year’s Eve special includes not-to-be-missed performances by Rihanna and Jay-Z, along with Green Day.
